While healthcare is similar to all other enterprises in its need to secure its systems, networks and data, it is also unique in that breaches can affect not only brand, costs and operations, but also continuity of patient care. In this presentation, Chris Richter, SVP of Global Security Services, Level 3 Communications, will review the results of a study done in cooperation with HIMSS Analytics, which will reveal healthcare organizations’ prioritized security concerns, solutions approaches and planned investments. He will discuss integrated approaches to consider in light of these findings, with the goal of helping healthcare organizations offer uninterrupted care, business continuity and patient privacy.
